[Tools of the Trade] Incight Financial News Video Aggregator

There is so much white noise blaring from so many financial television channels that it’s hard to tell which one of the many tidbits of data is actually useful.

Well lucky for you, there’s an iPad app to help distill all the market commentary into useful nuggets.

Incight helps you collect, sort and share financial video from multiple news sources.

This app allows users to get the information they want quickly by categorizing information from the financial markets into separate asset classes.  The videos, which include stocks, energy, metals, options and volatility, are plotted against a price timeline to see what was said, by whom and when.

You can search for relevant information by using keywords. You can also create customized alerts for subjects and specific content commentators.

There is also a community feature where you can exchange thoughts and opportunities from traders from around the world. You can also share videos via email or social media with a viewing “wall” feature, which lets users you choose to see the content you think is important.

With Incight, you can save time by having the app scour the financial media landscape to find videos from trusted sources.

Currently, you can only use this app in your iPad, but there is an iPhone version in the works.
