How’s it going everyone? This is episode 158 of Chat With Traders and my name is Aaron Fifield. Let’s get to it.
You’re going to hear from Phil Goedeker, the trader better known on Twitter as @OzarkTrades.
Phil has been a stock trader for around 15 years. He started very in young when he was in college and made a boatload of money within a short period of time. He admits that there was a bit of luck involved, but trading afforded him the luxury of never needing a “real” job ever.
Even with the luck factor, Phil has still maintained his success and is now trading full-time with rules, strategies and an edge. His trading methods is to short parabolic moves on low float stocks. When Phil sees golden opportunities, he tends to strike with real conviction.
He’s similar to our last guest Alex, except that Phil found his niche trading the short side, versus Alex who likes to trade on the long side of these moves.
As you keep listening, you’ll learn:
- Phil’s early days and how he progressed
- His obsession with cutting his losses quickly
- How to size up for those big trades that can potentially make your year
We also talk about timing, setups, strategy. Phil also dives into why he’s set on filtering his trading profits into farmland, which is one of his more “boring” ventures.
Ok, I’m going to stop now. Sit back, relax and please enjoy the following episode with Phil Goedeker.
