How’s it going ladies and gentlemen? I have the pleasure of introducing to you a super special guest on today’s episode of Chat With Traders.
Meet Aaron Brown.
He’s very well known as an authority on risk management. Even though he was originally a poker player and transitioned to becoming a trader and portfolio manager. In the last 30 years, Aaron’s has been a dedicated risk manager. For the past 10 years, he worked at AQR, a $200 billion quant hedge fund.
It was totally unintentional that this interview turned into two parts. We ended up reaching pretty close to sixty minutes and there were so many more questions I wanted to ask him. In fact, I didn’t even get to half the notes I had written down.
Luckily, Aaron agreed to continue our conversation which I’ll release the week after this episode airs.
On this episode we chat about Aaron’s relationship risk, and what a risk manager actually does.
